CreativeMornings/RDU is a free monthly breakfast lecture series for creative people in Raleigh. I work with my local branch here in Raleigh, and was responsible for starting up their monthly newsletter to notify those interested when each month’s tickets become available. In a year and a half we’ve grown the list from 0 to 490 subscribers (at an event that has an attendee max count of 120 per event) and now sell out our monthly events.

Our current average open rate is  55% when according to Mailchimp the industry standard is 21.1%.

I’ve worked with them on their marketing, including participating in-person demos, reworking their website and managing their content strategy (including their blog and their newsletter). I also redesigned their online registration form, resulting in increased online sales.

Since I’ve started working with Superior, they’ve seen an uptick in web traffic, website conversions, and overall ranking.

Sample eBook: Agency Firebox

Dont-Logo-BiggerI work with Agency Firebox, a business coaching company for marketing agencies, on an ongoing basis, including ghostwriting their first eBook, Don’t Just Make the Logo Bigger, last year.

I maintain their email newsletter, writing monthly tips for marketing agencies. One small tweak I made to their auto responder resulted in over $1000 in sales in less than the first week.

I also wrote most of the current copy on the Agency Firebox website and helped with marketing and promotion of their first ever workshop last fall. Click here to download a sample

The company was founded in 2010 by award-winning Latvian photographer, Irina Kuzmina and before long the bags were in demand from fashion-lovers and photographers around the world.

I helped them create their first official media kit in 2013, including several press releases, product descriptions and “about” information.
